Basic Hotel Innsbruck

Great location by the river, near the old center.

Parking was a real hassle. Only a few spaces available. We were promised breakfast, but ended up being charged 20 euro per person unexpectedly. The lack of a kettle in the room felt inconvenient .

The hotel provides a sensational and nice breakfast with the bakery and jam, for instance. Spacious rooms come with all comforts, a view of the alps, as for instance.

The wi-fi is practically non-existent in the room, which woudl ve been a minor issue if there were a kettle for tea. I expected a mini-fridge as a courtesy, but no! I almost gave this place a good review, but it fails to deliver on basics. Such a letdown.
